They’re overthinking this. Mishima Kanji is not an Esper, much less someone who can see the future. But there are factors right in front of them that could lead them to mistakenly believe so. Or rather, another one just popped up.

『Hereafter Corp』
The operator of 『HAO』. Their main business is oxygen plant manufacturing. Originally a research institute established by the Japanese government to ensure the reproducibility of Espers, they were responsible for systematizing them until the “Base Collapse”. However, upon learning of the future due to the “Base Collapse”, their plans took a complete turn.
