Impressions after the update:
・Where are the anti-UYK weapons?
・Equipment prices overall seem to have gone down. Also new equipment for sale so worth checking out.
・Some NPCs who seemed despairing before now seem to have a bit of hope.
・Hiniru appears to have been immediately spawn-killed by the Victims Alliance.

That was an event that made absolutely no sense. What was the point of all that?
102 Anonymous Player
To grab attention probably?
103 Anonymous Player
Orange’s streaming account got shut down again huh. That’s what you get for leaking Space lgnition Industries secrets.
104 Anonymous Player
It was funny how they directly named Orange at the press conference.
105 Anonymous Player
I thought negative mass was just a meme but overseas verification videos show they actually achieved it… http■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
106 Anonymous Player
>>105 That’s from that famous new venture company right? Kinda fishy.
107 Anonymous Player
If this is real, would Orange get the Nobel Prize?
108 Anonymous Player
>>107 He would… maybe, if there’s no evidence Space lgnition Industries invented it first… Dunno though.
109 Anonymous Player
The Strain and all that, 3 days left. Can we win?
110 Anonymous Player
>>109 I’m also curious about details not mentioned in the update. Something must have changed so that could be the breakthrough.
111 Anonymous Player
Apparently total player count worldwide has surpassed 10 million. I thought it was getting too much attention but apparently America is forming pro gaming teams just for HAO. So the growth of overseas players is pretty crazy.
112 Anonymous Player
>>111 Companies like RE Corp and Space lgnition Industries are apparently hurrying to form their own too. Thanks to the mad competition to secure players, they’re desperately recruiting even amateurs. And the salaries are insane too I hear.
113 Anonymous Player
Wasn’t there that rule prohibiting live streaming? I heard some people complained and got rejected.
114 Anonymous Player
>>113 You have to record all in-game actions and submit them to the company, and follow instructions if needed. There’s an exposé video with Japanese subtitles so go watch.
115 Anonymous Player
Apparently they’re even trying to secure Japanese players too.
116 Anonymous Player
I was working overtime yesterday so couldn’t watch Orange’s stream, what happened?
117 Anonymous Player
>>116 The second batch of Orange Book got released. Then right after, an update happened and the anti-UYK event battle started, ending in some emotional victory scene.
118 Anonymous Player
Orange seemed to know that dead NPC. Could he be an NPC too?
119 Anonymous Player
>>118 Orange is just a normal player, he pulls his share of stunts so just search him up. How many times has his exploit remote detonation pissed me off… in a Western dueling game no less.
120 Anonymous Player
He’s a dev pet JK
121 Anonymous Player
Never heard of dev players getting banned every stream.
122 Anonymous Player
There were 400k concurrent players at peak right? Perfect publicity but pisses me off he’s hogging all the event time to himself.
123 Anonymous Player
Come to think of it, all the update causes so far are from Orange right? The requirement being confidential info leaks doesn’t make sense though.
124 Anonymous Player
Yup this is the future
125 Anonymous Player
Anyway let’s focus on the upcoming Strain battle first. What’s the equipment status update about?
126 Anonymous Player
Weapons using artificial metals have increased. The negative mass matter generation plants were partially activated, and are using that to produce the artificial metals. Though there were 2 players guarding the plant entrance to keep others out. They seemed experienced.
127 Anonymous Player
>>126 Players? Not NPCs?
128 Anonymous Player
Yup, players. I remember one didn’t speak Japanese.
129 Anonymous Player
Could it be: Space lgnition Industries?
130 Anonymous Player
Maybe desperately guarding to prevent further leaks. Plausible.
131 Anonymous Player
Saw this statement: “The information released by Mr. Orange is technology we are currently developing and the rights belong solely to us. We have or are applying for patents worldwide. We kindly ask that other companies do not shamelessly imitate our proprietary technology.”
lmao And how come they weren’t kicked out into space like RE Corp did?
132 Anonymous Player
>>131 Looks like just the basic theory leaked, production details seem still under wraps. So he dodged the ban hammer.
133 Anonymous Player
Wonder what will be left in a year of all the places banning Orange.

「Why the hell am I getting spawn-killed, Orange is the one who needs to be taken down…!」
Hiniru rips off his VR headset with an enraged expression and yells at the ceiling. The instant he logged into HAO, bullets riddled him into an instant death. Without even a minute of playtime after the update ended, he incurred another login restriction. The same went for his collaborators – every player with that gear loadout was hunted down and killed.
What’s even worse is that wasn’t all. View growth for the Orange Subjugation videos: Day 1 – 300k views. Day 2 – 20k views. Day 3 – 9.8k views. He had planned to edit the live footage into a video but couldn’t even capture a glimpse of Orange’s figure from his sudden actions. It was a total production failure.
If that wasn’t bad enough, his collaborators started leaving Hiniru one by one. On top of directly receiving hostile spawn-killing, the very fact they were simply ignored by their target was harsh. Maintaining any pretense of justice to follow Hiniru was too difficult under these circumstances.
There was more. Shifting focus away from BCD videos caused some viewers to start seeing him as a traitor. Yet at the same time, with HAO exploding in popularity, he also couldn’t pivot to that.
「C’mon, my rent is getting bad bro. If I can’t make money from these videos I’ll have to give up this place…」
In stark contrast to his earlier yell, Hiniru pleaded at the ceiling. But the inanimate object gave no response as expected. Soundproofing meant no reactions from upstairs either. Checking if he was being talked about anywhere revealed only topics about Orange, updates, and Space lgnition Industries filling HAO discussions, any mentions of Hiniru quickly fading away.
Hiniru’s shoulders slumped in resignation. A few days later, he terminated the lease on this high rise studio apartment.
『Artificial Planet』
It orbits a natural satellite, the Moon, and so is correctly referred to as a sub-satellite. However per sponsor requests, it was named “artificial planet” as “artificial sub-satellite” sounded too cramped and inconvenient to inhabit.
Being influenced by larger planets like Earth, it would not remain stable elsewhere in the solar system. But positioned as close to Earth as possible to receive sunlight and illumination from the artificial sun, the solar system’s first two artificial sub-satellites were established.
In 2055, attacks by the Moon UYK destroyed both of these planets.
