As we get to the dining room, I took a sit on the other side of the table facing where the others are.
Since this is how things work around here, it’s wrong to think that I’m feeling lonely sitting here all alone.
Soon, a covered dish was placed on the table.
When the lid is open, a delicious pizza topped with plentiful ingredients can be seen on the table.
“This is for today’s lunch. It’s called pizza.”
As usual, it looks delicious.
Aisha who took a bite of the pizza was surprised and immediately ask about it.
“This is! Isn’t this cheese?!”
“Eins.”
“Certainly. Just as you said, it is cheese. I put thinly sliced of cheese along with the other ingredients before baking it.”
Hearing that reply, Aisha was stunned for a moment.
As for the men, they are still stuffing the pizza into their mouth.
I’m not saying they should eat elegantly, but can they at least stop eating like that, it looks so gross.
“Is this cheese? It looks different from the cheese we know, isn’t it?”
Asked Milia to Aisha.
“Because this is not a typical ordinary cheese.”
An ordinary cheese?
Is there some sort of unusual cheese out there?
“Usually, only the royalty and high noble can enjoy cheese taste like this. But this cheese is more flavourful and high-grade.”
As expected of guild master’s daughter, she even knows how the royal food tastes like.
“Is that so, I never knew about it.”
As Milia said so, she took another bite and began chewing it well so as to properly taste the food again.
…Amazing, she looks just like a small animal.
“I know that it is impossible, but please! Please teach me how to make it!”
Said Aisha with her head lowered almost touching to the surface of the table.
Let me see. I can teach how to make it but I doubt it will turn out as good as this.
“That’s right. After I make the town, I will teach the people how to make and sell the cheese. But, if you don’t want to buy it, then you don’t have to.”
Aisha raised her head.
“I don’t have to buy it?”
“Yes, you can back down from the trade anytime. Particularly, I don’t like forcing people onto something. So, if they want to leave, they can leave and I’ll not stop them from doing so.”
“…I understand.”
It seems I manage to convince her with this.
Then, Aisha and I continue with our lunch again.
“Seconds here!”
“And here too!”
“Me too!”
You lot!!
.
At the end of the meal, we enjoy a cup of tea.
“By the way…”
There’s something has been lingering in my mind for quite sometimes now, so, I asked Aisha about it.
“Is it possible for you not meddle with my territory?”
“No. Currently, it is still the territory of the Gallia country. You need to hand the official documents to me afterwards first.”
Does this mean the verbal agreement we had before doesn’t officially declare this territory as mine?
“I understand.”
As I nod, she stood up from her chair.
“Thank you very much for the lunch and the tea. And thanks for having me today. I’ll be going now.”
After bowing, she urges relaxing Cain and his left and right to leave as well.
“Well, thanks for today! The meal was very delicious!”
Milia stand up and bows.
Is she really in her 20’s?
“The meal here is simply the best!”
Cain stood up and said it with a big thumbs up.
I feel like beating him up right now.
“Is that so?”
“Well then, thanks for your care.”
Aisha once again lowered her head.
“Eins, please show them the way out.”
“Understood.”
This may be unnecessary since they’ve come so many times, but just this once.
“Thank you very much.”
“Well then, we’ll come again.”
Aisha and her party left the room with Eins leading the way.
.
The next day, Aristo came.
“What brings you here today?”
“I want to congratulate you for becoming a king!”
Word sure travels fast, isn’t it?
Still, it has been decided quite a long time ago.
“But why are you making a town in the Forest of Beginnings?”
“You sure got a good pair of ears. I only said that just yesterday.”
“When running this kind of business, you won’t earn a lot if you don’t catch wind of it first.”
I see.
In order to win you have to gather the information first before your rival does.
“So? Is that all the celebration you got for me?”
“Yes. By the way, would it be okay for me to open a new branch of my store in your town?”
I’ve been in his care quite for sometimes now and it’s not like he particularly troubled me anyway.
“Is it alright?”
“That wouldn’t be a problem!”
Aristo looks glad to hear that.
“Anyway, I’ll be counting on you from today onward.”
“…About that, I really want to help you but I’m only a store manager.”
Aristo shook his head with a somewhat sad expression on his face.
Isn’t he the store manager?
“As the manager, I can’t leave my main store.”
“Really? I thought you can be with me here forever.”
“Me too. I didn’t expect our parting will come very soon enough.”
“The main store, please do your best.”
