After the old woman got out, I feel tired all of sudden.
But still, who knew such an old story exist in this place.
So, in that story, did the dungeon master request for sacrifice just because he wants to hold a tea ceremony?
If it’s true, then, there should be a part told in the story where the sacrifice returning home alive.
The story never mentions of killing the sacrifice though.
Is the dungeon master actually doesn’t know what he wants to do? Is that it?
.
With no sacrifice coming from the last village, I greet the new day.
“The surrounding trees in the area has been cleared.”
As I entered the study, Zwei appeared and report to me his progress.
“I see. You did well. You may go rest now.”
“Understood.”
Zwei bowed and left.
Well, should I start working now?
First, I called for five puppets with construction skill and order them to build a farm outside.
Then, farming dolls to plough the ground there.
As for the rest of the puppet, they will be in the dungeon constructing the town.
Finally, I place the materials near the working area.
“Is this will be enough?”
Even so, the villagers sure are taking their times.
It’s not like I can do anything about it anyway.
“Should I go outside for the first time?”
Perhaps this going to be the historic moment of my life.
So far, I never step outside at all.
It really can’t be helped.
“…For once, should I call Eins to escort me?”
Last time, I was scold because I was being too reckless.
“Eins, please follow me to the outside.”
“Understood.”
Finally, I got out of the dungeon!
“Fuu~”
The air is refreshing.
The sun is bright.
The sky is blue.
And I can smell the scent of the forest.
“Outside is quite a nice place.”
“Is it? It looks just the same as the inside of the dungeon to me.”
What?
Even though the air clearly smells different?
“By any chance, do you have the sense of taste and smell at all?”
“Are they something can be seen in numerical value?”
Eins give me a strange reply.
Value?
“I see.”
Since I couldn’t explain to her what is taste and smell feel like, I have no choice but to say so.
“Anyway, where’s the human?”
While I was looking around, I notice the lively atmosphere around the place where the human gathers at.
Occasionally, I can see cheers rose from the excited crowd.
But there’s nothing entertaining here though…
As I approach them, I can see both the puppet and doll building the farm and ploughing the soil at high speed.
It certainly is kind of entertainment.
“Everyone!”
If I could, I don’t want to interrupt them right now but I have no choice.
“Who is this guy?”
“Do you know him?”
“Hey, isn’t that maid living next door?”
“Everyone seems to be doing great.”
As I try to get their attention, suddenly, there’s a loud explosive sound beside me.
When I look over, I can see Eins crushed the ground where she’s standing at.
“Master now is a good time for you to speak.”
Then, she bowed towards me.
I almost got a heart attack just now…
“I’m dungeon master Null, the king of this country.”
I heard small chatters at the back. So as to prevent the same thing from happening again, I pause for a moment before continue.
“Upon coming here, I’m sure there are those who worried about the housing.”
Perhaps most of you here.
“Worry not. I’ve already prepared houses for everyone in the dungeon.”
As I said so, a trembling man raised his hand.
“What’s the matter?”
When asked so, he took a step forward with his eyes fixed on Eins.
He seems to be scared.
“Inside the dungeon, how do we live in it?”
“About that. The dungeon will be your home but you’ll be working on this farm.”
With that said, another man raised his arm.
“What do you want to ask?”
The man steps out forward replacing the man from before.
“In other words, we will leave the dungeon at dawn and return at dusk?”
“Actually, I will not interfere with your lifestyle. You can leave the dungeon whenever you want and come back whenever you like.”
After hearing what I said, the man steps back to his original position.
I check the crowd to see if there are any more questions.
“Can I continue now? The same guy who built the farm is now building your house. If there’s something you wanted, it’s better for you to say it.”
With that said, they entered the dungeon fearfully.
“Can I ask a question?”
Then, a woman steps out of the crowd and raised her hands.
“Is it okay if I tell about this to the other village?”
“It’s fine. Do whatever you want.”
After telling her so, the woman left and ran somewhere.
Perhaps to spread the words.
Inside the dungeon, there are more than ten 2-storey houses available.
The crowd were left speechless by them.
It’s a scene which I see quite often.
I’ll make a well later since it looks weird to draw water from the river running in the middle of the street.
